In 2016, I had an experience that forever changed my understanding of the unseen world around
us. It was a cold night, and I had just finished my shift at work around midnight. As I stepped
out, I quickly realized that there were no buses operating at that hour. Though I was exhausted
and looking forward to getting home, I knew I would have to find another way. One of my
workmates kindly offered me a ride, but she didn’t take me all the way to my house. She dropped
me off about six blocks from home, and I started walking.
It was a quiet night, with only the distant hum of the city echoing in the air. However, as I
walked along the dark street, I began to feel uneasy. I glanced behind me and noticed a car that
seemed to be following me. It wasn’t speeding, but it was clearly staying close, and that was
enough to make me feel uncomfortable. The feeling of being watched started to creep up my
spine.
In that moment, something extraordinary happened. A voice spoke clearly in my mind, urging
me to head toward the bus station. It wasn’t just a suggestion; it was more like a gentle
command. Without thinking too much, I obeyed, altering my course and walking toward the
station. As soon as I started moving in that direction, I noticed the car behind me slowed down
and eventually stopped following me.
I reached the station, but as I arrived, I found it empty. There was no bus, and no one was
around. I had been watching a program earlier that day, hosted by Sid Roth, where he spoke
about the “Ministry of Angels.” It was about how God sends His angels to watch over and
protect us, often in ways we don’t even realize.
Reflecting on what had just occurred, it suddenly became clear to me. The people I had seen at
the station weren’t real—they were angels. God had placed them there to protect me. The feeling
of safety and peace that washed over me confirmed it. There was no logical explanation for the
car’s behavior, the mysterious group of people, or the voice I had heard urging me to move. All
of it pointed to one truth: I had encountered divine protection.
That night, I realized something profound about God’s love for us. He doesn’t just watch over us
from a distance; He is actively involved in our lives, sending His angels to protect us. The Bible
tells us in Psalm 91:11, “For He will command His angels concerning you to guard you in all
your ways.” Whether we see them or not, we are surrounded by spiritual forces that are working
on our behalf, offering guidance and protection when we need it the most.
I share this story with you not to boast about my experience, but to remind us all that we are
never truly alone. Sometimes, when we feel lost or afraid, God’s angels are right there, watching
over us. The ministry of angels is real, and it’s something that we can rely on, even when the
circumstances seem uncertain or frightening. It’s a reminder that, no matter where we are or
what we face, God is always there, providing us with divine assistance in ways we may not fully
understand but can always trust.
Next time you find yourself in a difficult or uncertain situation, remember that you might just be
surrounded by angels. And who knows? You might even encounter them in the most unexpected
ways.
